Terms of Reference
- To act as a sub-group of the Local Strategic Partnerships in matters relating to Children and Young People.
- To act as a sub-group of the County Durham Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership in order to influence the local elements of relevant County wide strategies.
- To identify local needs, priorities, outputs and targets in relation to Children and Young People in D&CLS and in the context of national targets/outputs.
- To establish priorities for investment and service development.
- To promote and support the integration of services and budgets relating to children and young people to achieve real co-ordination and Best Value.
- To evaluate local development initiatives for Children and Young People and monitor their progress towards meeting local and national targets.
- To identify, share and support best practice about improving the quality of life for Children and Young people in the area.
