Local Planning Groups Durham Dales Children and Young People's Planning GroupThe Dales group, despite its long title, aims to bring together everyone involved in meeting the needs of young people in both Teesdale and Wear Valley. The group is still developing but as at its heart is a commitment to involve young people in the design and development of services so that we can be sure they will meet the needs of young people. Teesdale already has an Involvement Worker in post and Wear Valley hope to appoint shortly. We need a wide range of people from local communities to become involved as well as those already round the table. Young people would be especially welcome but also voluntary and community groups who provide activities and support to young people.
